About This Project

The new 6-story, 130-room hotel is located in the busy downtown area of Columbia on Gervais Street. The site is located in the heart of a mixed use development known as The Vista, featuring restaurants, shopping, office, residences and entertainment venues all within walking distance of downtown Columbia and the University of South Carolina Campus.

The hotel will service visitors to the convention center and fill in a street-front gap in The Vista where a parking lot sat previously. JSC Systems will provide an Edwards Vigilant Addressable Fire Alarm System, Voice Data & CATV Systems Cabling. The CCTV System will be IP based with 1 MP cameras, 8 interior domes and 3 exterior domes. The Area of Rescue System will be a Cornell system consisting of 12 call stations and 1 master. JSC Systems will also provide the AV System for the hotel.
